FAQ
The questions you would ask on the call
Ownership, access, integrations, timelines and what happens when something breaks. Answered here so you do not have to book a call to find out.
How does an engagement typically work?
It starts with an audit week: we map how the work runs today and hand back a ranked, costed list of what is worth automating. From there we build the highest-impact item first, run it on your real work, integrate it with your existing systems, and then either take the next bottleneck or stop. Each phase is a separate decision, so nothing commits you to the one after it.
What happens after we decide to move forward?
Scope and a fixed price are agreed in writing before any build starts. Then a short access and discovery step, a first working version you can watch running, revisions against your feedback, and handover with documentation. You get a named point of contact and a weekly update throughout, not a black box that reappears at the end.
Who owns the automation after it is built?
You do. Workflows, prompts, agent scripts, integration code and the runbook are yours at handover, and everything runs inside your own accounts and subscriptions. There is no licence, no per-seat fee and nothing that stops working if you stop working with us.
Do we need a technical person on our side?
No. What we need is one person who genuinely knows how the process works and can make decisions about it. We handle the technical side and document everything in plain English, so a non-technical team can run and restart it after handover.
What happens if something breaks?
Every workflow ships with failure alerting and a fallback to a human, so a broken step becomes a notification rather than a silent gap. On a support plan we fix it. Without one, the runbook and diagrams are written so your own team can, and you can bring us in for the difficult ones.
What tools and systems can Opetera work with?
Orchestration usually runs on n8n, Make or Zapier, the intelligence layer on current LLM and voice APIs, and custom code fills the gaps where an off-the-shelf route would be fragile. On your side we work with the common CRMs, helpdesks, spreadsheets, accounting tools, calendars, WhatsApp, email and anything with a usable API.
Can Opetera work with our existing systems?
That is the default. The aim is that nobody on your team has to learn a new dashboard: the automation runs inside the tools you already pay for. Where a system has no API, we look at the supported alternatives and tell you honestly if a clean integration is not possible.
How do you handle access and sensitive data?
Scoped credentials, only the systems a given workflow actually touches, and an NDA before we see anything sensitive. Work happens in your accounts rather than ours, your data is not used to train any model, and access can be revoked at any time without the automation stopping.
How long does implementation typically take?
One week for the audit, then two to three weeks to the first solution running on real work. Larger multi-system builds run four to eight weeks and are delivered in working pieces rather than one reveal at the end.
Can Opetera support teams outside India?
Yes. We are based in Gurugram and work remotely across time zones. Calls are scheduled around your working hours, and pricing for overseas engagements is quoted in your currency.
